Those Wacky Atheists

It seems the atheists are on the move again. This holiday season they are putting signs on busses and who knows where else attacking religion. The latest is that they put a placard in the state house in the State of Washington.

They seem to be hot and bothered by Christmas. But I would venture a guess that many of them go to Christmas parties and probably exchange a gift here and there. After all, they are atheists, not Scrooges. But they seem to think that believing in God is somehow hurtful to the human person.

As I was walking around the grocery store tonight, it finally hit me. The store was playing Christmas music. I’ve been hearing Christmas music for 2 weeks already. No wonder the atheists are so upset. It’s the endless Christmas music. It’s enough to drive Santa nuts.

Atheists, please don’t hate us because of the music. It’s not our fault. It’s the fault of program directors at radio stations all over the country. This is not my religion. It’s an aberration of my religion.

God bless you.

I am an agnostic who loves Christmas for a variety of reasons. We are not wacky because we question the invisible.

When I use "wacky" I mean more like madcap in a fun way. This post was directed to those who do attack religion. And I was trying to make light of it by blaming all the Christmas music.

Merry Christmas!
