A lot has been made over the past several years about how the USA tortures its prisoners. I have read about these torture measures and find some of them laughable. Putting a dog near a prisoner is torture? Making them look at women is torture? Is the new definition of torture is anything that makes the prisoner feel uncomfortable?
If that is the case and you want to torture me, make me eat strawberries and grapefruit. While I don't really like strawberries, I abhor grapefruit. A couple of years ago I decided to eat some as a Lenten penance. I think I got one piece down. Yep, that would certainly torture me. I wonder if anyone cared if I was tortured?
