I never thought this would happen but I think I am burned out on politics. I just am so tired of listening to the same rhetoric. I used to listen to political talk radio all day long. Now, often in the morning, I move the dial to classical music. I also find myself listening to more sports talk. None of the Republican candidates excite me or I really don't know who they are.
Maybe it is partly frustration that nothing seems to be changing. The Republicans won the House in November but the leadership is sorely lacking. Sorry, but I don't think a leader should be crying publicly every time he smells a rose. Man up! And listen to the people! I swear there is something in the water inside the "beltway".
If the Republican leadership decides to lead, maybe I'll bet into politics again.
